Un consigliere della società che ha costruito un treno sottomarino viene assassinato.
L'espresso è stato realizzato per collegare gli Usa, per la precisione Los Angeles, al
Giappone per aumentare il turismo e gli scambi commerciali. Ma è veramente questo il solo
motivo della faraonica installazione? Perché il consigliere viene assassinato? Indagando,
un detective si imbatte in un manipolo di strani personaggi e scopre una trama criminale
ben ordita.
