MEDIAINFO
Is a fictional imagining of the encounters of four people one 1954 night into morning, they, who, nameless, resemble Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio (the two in a troubled marriage at the time), and Joseph McCarthy, but who are hereinafter referred to as the Professor, Actress, Ballplayer, and Senator, respectively. Most of the encounters take place in the Professor's New York City hotel room, he expecting solitude to do his work, and this evening when the Actress filmed what would arguably become her most iconic scene in feature films. Sometimes in pairs or in slightly larger groups, these encounters play upon the general tropes of who they are as individuals at this moment in time, some of their connections not seemingly obvious on the surface. Their encounters are sometimes interrupted to show flashbacks, often to them in childhood, which provides the context as to who they turned out as people in the motivations behind their current actions. Thrown into the mix is the native American hotel elevator operator, who also provides some context as to the goings-on.
