most notably the iconic "spider-walk" scene. These additions, made at the behest of writer William Peter Blatty, add
more depth to the characters' struggles and the film's religious themes.
The Spider-Walk: Included, with digital touch-ups to remove wires and add a blood effect.
Medical Scene: Extended hospital sequence showing more of Regan's painful diagnostic tests.
Ending: Features an extended ending where Chris keeps Karras' medallion (symbolizing faith restored) and Kinderman and
Dyer form a friendship (as explored in Exorcist III), providing a more hopeful tone.
Sound: Remixed soundtrack with many original sound effects replaced with new ones.
